Another great immune boosting trick. Ginger Lemon Honey Tea. Those are literally the only 3 ingredients you need!

If I feel that I am coming down with something or feel “everyone around me is getting sick” I turn to my version of “the medicine ball” tea.

Ginger is a powerhouse! It has antiviral and antibacterial properties that can help keep us healthy. The antioxidants help maintain a balanced immune response and ginger’s anti-inflammatory properties can help combat chronic inflammation, which weakens our immune systems.

Honey also has antibacterial and antiviral properties that help kill harmful bacteria and viruses. Honey can also help soothe an inflamed throat, suppress coughs, and help clear mucus from your airway if you do have an infection.

Lemons are just a great source of Vitamin C which helps your body fight infections or diseases.

Directions:

1. Cut up about 2 inches worth of ginger and add to a metal tea steeper . If you don't have one- here is one to buy quick off Amazon:

2. A teaspoon of good sourced organic honey

We buy our honey from a farm where we source our eggs and milk.

If you are interested in ordering from a farm, You can get 10% your first order by ordering through our family link!

3. Squeeze half a lemon worth of lemon juice into your mug

4. Add hot water to fill your mug

5. Leave the ginger to steep for about 7-10 minutes. The longer the ginger is in the water for the spicier the tea might be

6. Mix it all up and enjoy!
